I’m excited to share a new section on our website to facilitate custom print orders.
Head to the top of our home page and see Print-To-Order. Here you can view all our designs in one place and access an order form for each design.
Within each design page there is information about the repeat size, customer photos, and a 'shop in stock' collection. But most importantly, you'll also find an order form which allows you to choose a base cloth and ink color option for the design.
Once you submit the order form, we’ll follow up with a confirmation and invoice to begin printing your order. Lately our turnaround time has been 1-2 weeks for custom jobs.
I hope this new feature will make accessing our Print-To-Order capabilities easy and accessible. We love printing your requests! Here’s a few orders we’ve printed recently that you may have seen in the shop:
There is no additional print charge for custom orders-- for now our yardage prices are based on which base cloth you choose. We sell our fabric direct-to-customer to keep our retail prices as reasonable as possible.
Our Print-to-Order capabilities also helps us cut down on fabric waste.
We’ll always print a little overage for quality control, and whatever overage there is from a custom order gets listed in our remnant section online or made into fabric bundles.
As always we’re happy to send complimentary fabric samples of our designs, prints, and base cloths before you commit to fabric yardage.
Now, I'd love to know what you think. Do you have a project in mind for custom yardage? Is there a print you'd love to see in another color? Let me know!
Thank you so much for your support.
(p.s. As a side note - we’re asked often if we print other people’s designs and the answer is no, we do not. If you’re looking to have a design of your own printed on fabric, look for service printers such as Spoonflower. )
